STARVING INSTRUCTIONS

For general anaesthetic operations, assuming an afternoon list, have breakfast as normal. Afterwards, nothing further to eat and no drinks apart from modest amounts of water if thirsty.

POST-OPERATIVE ADVICE

If there is a problem or query, I can be contacted anytime through the Alexandra duty nurse (0161 428 3656). For less urgent issues, it is best to contact me through my secretary (0161 434 9715).
